Regenerative Agriculture at H&M Farms

Regenerative Agriculture at H&M Farms…

What does it mean to farm well?

To live in synchronicity with the lands we steward?

When we leave this planet, how will the lands reflect on our time spent here?

These are the key questions of farming well, and ones that we ask ourselves daily, monthly, & yearly.

The assessment of how our ground is being nourished. What crops to plant so that our lands ring with vitality, are the mindful messages we look to for answers.

Regenerative Agriculture at H&M Farms looks like perennials, and covering the soil all year.

It looks like top soil growing inches per year.

Our way of agriculture, is how we will rebalance our existence on this planet.

This way of agriculture looks like long term, true sustainability.

Regenerative Agriculture at H&M Farms looks like the way our Ancestors tended to the lands.

This time was before quick fixes and chemical treatments. We weren’t tearing the land apart multiple times per year, and mono cropping, leaving the land depleted.

At H&M Farms, we tend to the land with the mindset and action to create systems that complete full circles of vitality for the soil, our animals, the finished products and the plants.

We value our footprints in the soil.

Keeping the land growing and thriving while we do the same alongside it.

What we give back, the land provides to us.

Medicinal Herbs, Forage for our Cattle, and select commodity crops are grown here in the fertile Big Horn Basin of Wyoming.

Our goal is to provide nutrient dense foods to feed our neighbors.

Small batch & potent dried medicinal herbs and extracts to bring vitality to our bodies.

Knowing that while we tend to the land with a mantra of Regeneration, our farm is becoming a part of the solution.
